With over 38 million people, Poland is the most populous of the eastern European nations to have joined the European Union in 2004. Since that time, foreign direct investment(FDI) has expanded. Moreover, it is expected that in 2007 at least 60 new corporations will be listed on the Warsaw stock Exchange.
However, steady economic growth continues to be accompanied by a mass emigration of skilled employees to western EU nations.
